Travis’s ex, Kayla Nicole, is stirring the pot online: a deleted post resurfaced where she wrote “A taken man is more attractive,” and she recreated a music-video look widely interpreted as a veiled comment on Taylor & Travis’s relationship.

Kayla Nicole, a model-influencer and former partner of Travis Kelce, has found herself back in the spotlight — and this time not just for her past relationship but for some pointed public gestures. Nicole dated Kelce for several years (from about 2017 to 2022).

Since Kelce’s high-profile engagement with Taylor Swift, Nicole’s social-media activity has taken on an added layer of commentary — whether intentional or perceived.

The Trigger: Deleted Tweet and Resurrection

A 2017 tweet attributed to Nicole has resurfaced:

> “#confess a taken man is more attractive than a single one, idk something about the competition smh.”

Though Nicole later deleted the post, screenshots have circulated widely, reigniting interest in her past remarks. The timing and content have led many to interpret it as a commentary on Kelce’s current relationship with Taylor Swift (the pair got together in 2023).

The Costume That Sparked Speculation

On Halloween 2025, Nicole posted a look inspired by Toni Braxton’s 2000 music video “He Wasn’t Man Enough for Me.”

In her post, Nicole captioned: “She’s an icon. She’s a legend.” But fans quickly noted the lyric “He wasn’t man enough for me” and tied it to Kelce’s current partnership with Swift — interpreting the costume as a watershed moment of shade.

Public Reaction & Fan-Interpretation

Many fans took Nicole’s tweet and costume as a direct message rather than simply aesthetic or past commentary.

On Reddit, users pointed out:

> “She’s not. That we know of. But … when you beg an ex for years and now dress like his new partner’s shade, it’s … rich.”

Social-media threads show her blocking some accounts and deleting posts, which many interpret as damage-control or selective narrative shaping.

The first American pope has declined — days after rejecting President Trump’s “Board of Peace” invitation.
