She’s back in the city, and in her favorite Louis Vuitton

The era of chocolate brown is just beginning, if Taylor Swift has anything to say about it. The pop superstar put her stamp of approval on fall’s favorite cozy color as she debuted a monochrome brown look last night in New York City.

Amidst the rainy weather, Swift stepped out in tall, chocolate suede boots with sharp stilettos, for a night at the exclusive members only club Chez Margaux, in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district.

Staying true to her preppy uniform—which usually involves a miniskirt and boots—the “Wi$h Li$t” singer paired her footwear with a turtleneck sweater dress in a rich caramel brown. Over the ribbed minidress, she layered on a chunky, slouchy leather jacket in the same hue.

Continuing with the shades of brown, Swift accessorized with Louis Vuitton’s Camera Box monogram canvas bag in soft and dark brown, with golden hardware. She popped on some gold rings from her favored fashion house to match, as well as large gold hoop earrings, shimmery copper nails, and a bright orange lip, nodding to her The Life of a Showgirl era. The Grammy winner’s blonde hair was styled into a long fishtail braid, with her signature wispy bangs.

Her engagement ring from fiancé Travis Kelce was on full display.

Swift’s outing in New York City outing comes as a welcome surprise, as she’s been spending much of her time in Kansas City, Missouri, to support Kelce amid his NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs. The singer has been present at most of his games, though she has kept a low-profile for a good reason.

Trump owes the Supreme Court an apology—to the Justices he smeared on Friday and the institution itself. He doubtless won’t offer one, but his rant in response to his tariff defeat at the Court was arguably the worst moment of his Presidency.

NEW: JD Vance flew to Rome to formally invite Pope Leo XIV to join America’s 250th anniversary celebration. The first American pope has declined — days after rejecting President Trump’s “Board of Peace” invitation. On July 4, he’ll be in Lampedusa, standing with migrants — not in Washington — drawing another stark line between the Trump-Vance White House and the Catholic Church under Leo.
