Simone Biles Brings Bold Height in Jimmy Choos heels paired with David Koma minidress to Audemars Piguet Event

Simone Biles was right on time to help Audemars Piguet celebrate its 150th anniversary. The gymnast attended an event for the luxury watch brand on Monday in New York and opted for a lavish pair of Jimmy Choo‘s popular platform sandals for the outing and paired them with a minidress

Biles sported Jimmy Choo‘s popular Max 150 Satin Sandals in a champagne color. Rendered in high-shine satin, the Max sandal is defined by its tall sculptural platform, its dramatic stiletto heel and a singular and delicate ankle strap. A wide strap covers the front of the foot, delivering a peep-toe silhouette

The rounded toe sandal features a lofty platform, with a heel measuring 5.9 inches. While the exact color is not currently available, the Max sandal style retails for $995 and is currently available in black on the Jimmy Choo sandal. The shoe is a go-to for celebrities like Jenna Ortega and Jennifer Lopez, and stylists often reach for the shoe for their more petite clients looking to wear long gowns on the red carpet.

Biles paired the heels with a dress with a shorter hem instead, showing off her legs. She wore a David Koma Leather Trimmed Mini Sequin Dress in a neutral cream color, which is currently available in burgundy on the designer’s website for $2,050. The dress is made from recycled sequins, and is cut in a camisole design and features 100 percent leather trim and straps in light tan color.

Biles’ gold look provided a flattering contrast when she posed for snaps alongside her fellow Olympic gymnasts Aly Raisman, Suni Lee and Jordan Chiles, who were also in attendance at the event wearing black ensembles.

NEW: JD Vance flew to Rome to formally invite Pope Leo XIV to join America’s 250th anniversary celebration. The first American pope has declined — days after rejecting President Trump’s “Board of Peace” invitation. On July 4, he’ll be in Lampedusa, standing with migrants — not in Washington — drawing another stark line between the Trump-Vance White House and the Catholic Church under Leo.
