Serena Williams looked to be enjoying a well-earned break at an exclusive resort in the south of France after her recent French Open defeat.
Any one of us would be happy to be flaunting our bodies on a holiday in the south of France right now.
After losing her fourth round match to Elena Rybakina at the French Open the week before, Serena Williams took some well-earned relaxation time with her family at the exclusive Eden Roc resort in the south of France.
Currently ranked eighth in the world, Williams was seen wearing a one piece multi-coloured swimsuit as she splashed into the seaside pool.
She travelled to France to compete in the French Open tennis tournament but was beaten in the fourth round.
And Serena Williams ensured to make the most of her trip to Europe as she enjoyed some downtime with her family while staying at a luxury hotel in the South Of France on Saturday.
The athlete, 39, looked incredible in a colourful swimsuit which boasted panels of bright yellow and pink and was seen cosying up to her husband Alexis Ohanian, 38, in between jumping into the cool water.
Serena appeared to be in great spirits while making the most of the sunshine, with the star beaming smiles and laughing as she chatted to her beau.
After looking at the refreshing water for a few moments, Serena and Alexis took it in turns to launch from the stone side and diving board into the sea.
Alexis also caught the eye in a pair of brightly patterned swimming trunks, with the Reddit founder leaving his long brunette locks down for the dip in the water.
Serena and her husband, who share three-year-old daughter Olympia, travelled to France so she could compete in the French Open tennis tournament.
But her hopes of victory were dashed last week when she was beaten in the fourth round 6-3, 7-5 by Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, 18 years her junior and one of the many talented players from the former Soviet Union who have flooded the tour over her long career.
The eighth seed tried to rouse herself in the second set, but there almost seemed to be an acceptance of her fate at a tournament she did not have high expectations of winning.
