Patrick Mahomes recalls advice he gave to Travis Kelce amid pursuit of Taylor Swift as Chiefs QB claims to be the couple’s ‘matchmaker’

Kelce and Swift have enjoyed a whirlwind romance over the past year, with the loved-up pair going from strength to strength ever since they went public with their relationship in September. ‘We enjoy it, it’s been a fun run,’ the Chiefs quarterback told McAfee about his teammate’s high-profile relationship.

‘I like to take some of the credit [because] I was the one who invited Travis to the first Taylor concert when the friendship bracelet was [given].Mahomes also shed light on the words of advice he gave to Kelce amid his pursuit of his future girlfriend.

‘I had some input in there as well and was like, “Dude just go for it, just go for it.”

‘And you know Travis man… he does it and he’s a great dude, and I’m glad it’s all worked out for the best.’

Kelce famously revealed on his New Heights podcast last year that he made a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it to give to Swift at her Eras Tour concert.

Just months later sparks flew between them, with Swift publicly confirming their romance by rocking up to Arrowhead for the Chiefs’ win over the Chicago Bears in September.
