The Argentinian athlete, who played on the royal’s winning side at the Sentebale Cup at Berkshire Polo Club on Thursday, has joked on Instagram about being relegated to third wheel status during the prize-giving on the podium after the match.

He shared an hilariously awkward photo on his feed, that shows the smitten newlyweds sharing an intimate kiss on stage – forcing Nacho, holding the trophy, to simply stand and watch.’When you wished the trophy would turn into a violin,’ Nacho wrote in his light-hearted caption, in which he also gushed about Meghan and Harry’s ‘incredible love story’.

The polo player, who was once voted the second most handsome man in the world by Vanity Fair, is a long-time friend of the Prince, and has been open in his admiration of Harry’s new wife, writing of Meghan in a separate post over the weekend: ‘This girl really rocks.’
