Kylie Kelce Says She Begged Husband Jason Kelce to Cut His Infamous Mullet

Remember back in 2019 when Jason Kelce rocked a mullet? Well, his wife Kylie Kelce begged the former NFL player to shave it off.

Apparently, Jason was rocking the mullet the same week that the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Wyatt. Kylie absolutely did not want Jason to take photos with their first child while wearing a mullet. Speaking on her Not Gonna Lie podcast, she said that she begged her husband to shave off the hairstyle.

“He had the mullet around the birth of Wyatt,” she said. “The reason I know that is because I begged and pleaded for him to no longer have the mullet in the photos with our first child.”

But apparently, Jason refused to cut the hairstyle despite his wife begging. She said, “You guessed it. There’s a mullet in the photos with our first child’s birth.”

It’s not the first time that Kylie has called out her husband for his mullet. It ranks among her least favorite hairstyles.

“Queen Emma would like to know if I would say that Jason’s fashion sense or look changed at all when we first started dating. No. Nope. He had long hair when we first started dating. He had the man bun,” she said.

Ultimately, Jason did cut off the mullet. But he only cut it because he wanted to.

“He chose to cut it on his own,” Kylie continued. “A bunch of people thought that he cut it because of me and he did not. He actually cut it because he couldn’t comfortably put his head back on the sofa. I’ll tell you what. He looked very good with a man bun.”

“But I do love a fade,” she shared. “And he looked damn good with a fade.”

But prior to that she almost cut his hair in his sleep.

“I will say the one, which we were already married, the one haircut he knows that I came very close to shaving his head in his sleep,” she said. “Full transparency was the mullet. I swear he did it to f— with me. This is the trust tree here. We’re in the trust tree, don’t anybody tell him.”
