City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker urged men to ‘fight against cultural emasculation’ and claimed women are destined to be ‘homemakers’ while giving a commencement speech over the weekend at a small Kansas college.

Butker’s speech was full of his conservative views, not only on gender roles, but on abortion and vaccines as well.

Butker gave the speech at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, about an hour northwest of Arrowhead Stadium.’To the gentlemen here today, part of what plagues society is this lie that has been told to you that men are not necessary in the home or in our communities,’ Butker said over the weekend.

‘As men, we set the tone of the culture, and when that is absent, disorder, dysfunction and chaos set in,’ Butker continued. ‘This absence of men in the home is what plays a large role in the violence we see all around the nation.’ The couple haven’t been shy about their romance.

The “Bejeweled” singer spoke out about their relationship for the first time in her 2023 Time Person of the Year interview earlier this month, and revealed what this connection so different and why they seem to be each other’s biggest fans.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care. The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other,” Taylor said.
