Jason Kelce opens about wife Kylie Kelce’s past pregnancy loss

Jason Kelce is opening up about wife Kylie Kelce’s previous pregnancy loss, crediting his sports family for supporting the couple through their grief journey.

The retired Philadelphia Eagles star center shared the comments on Wednesday while receiving the March of Dimes Sports Achievement Award in New York City.

I remember going out to my truck in the middle of practice and meetings, overcome with grief and emotion,” he said, describing it as an “absolutely devastating” time.

Depending on the timing, the term pregnancy loss can refer to either a miscarriage, if occurring before 20 weeks, or stillbirth, if occurring after 20 weeks.

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, miscarriages are common and can occur in about 10 of 100 known pregnancies, although the prevalence of miscarriage may be higher, as some losses can occur before a woman even knows she is pregnant.
