PARK CITY, Utah — Retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce joined the US bobsled team in Park City ahead of the Milano Cortina Olympic Games to test his meddle in the sled.

In a YouTube video documenting his experience, Kelce learned directly from head coach and three-time Olympian Chris Fogt and got to sled with members of the team who are currently competing in the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games.

Before they got started, Fogt noted that a lot of bobsled athletes transfer from football and other sports. “You might not be good enough, but let’s at least try,” Fogt teased Kelce as he outlined what training would look like for the day.

First up, Kelce tested his speed on a 30m sprint, and he succeeded in getting his time down to 3.98 seconds. Fogt noted Olympic male sledders will have times between 3.44 and 3.80 seconds. Fogt also tested Kelce’s vertical and broad jumps, noting how important explosive speed and power is when pushing the sled down the track.

Next, the team took to the push track, where Kelce met up with members of the US bobsled team and practiced pushing a sled on wheels down the track. Although Kelce joked he was “negative confident” about how it would go, Fogt was notably impressed with his runs. Within an hour, Kelce went from a true novice to successfully loading into the practice sled with a four-man team.

Trump owes the Supreme Court an apology—to the Justices he smeared on Friday and the institution itself. He doubtless won’t offer one, but his rant in response to his tariff defeat at the Court was arguably the worst moment of his Presidency.

NEW: JD Vance flew to Rome to formally invite Pope Leo XIV to join America’s 250th anniversary celebration. The first American pope has declined — days after rejecting President Trump’s “Board of Peace” invitation. On July 4, he’ll be in Lampedusa, standing with migrants — not in Washington — drawing another stark line between the Trump-Vance White House and the Catholic Church under Leo.
