Breaking: Taylor Swift is exhausted and sends a clear message to Travis Kelce that he may not like
As her lengthy Eras Tour finally draws to a close, Taylor Swift is ready to think about what’s next — and where her boyfriend Travis Kelce fits into everything.
Swift and Kelce have dated for more than a year, and the pop superstar has become a frequent presence when Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs play — especially at their home field, Arrowhead Stadium. But Swift has rarely traveled to watch Kelce on the road this season, in part due to her hectic touring schedule. However, with her tour ending in less than a week’s time, Swift’s plans are starting to come into focus, just as the Chiefs prepare for the most important part of their Super Bowl title defense.
Taylor is ready for some time off
After a staggering 149 shows that produced a record-breaking concert film and broke new ground for a touring artist, Swift will bring down the curtain on the Eras Tour on Dec. 8, when she plays her third and final show at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. According to Page Six, once Swift’s Canadian commitment has concluded, the “Dancing with Our Hands Tied” singer-songwriter plans to relax and enjoy some downtime.
Swift reportedly is planning to “hibernate” around the Kansas City area for a while and “see how things go” with Kelce, whose Chiefs are pursuing NFL history by winning the Super Bowl for the third season running.
“They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple,” an insider told Us Weekly. “Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because (that’s when) the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much about each other.”
And through that quality time, it remains to be seen whether Kelce and Swift decide to get engaged or even opt to remain a couple. Swift, who turns 35 later this month, has reportedly told her team to give her one year with Kelce to determine whether the legendary tight end is indeed the man of her dreams — a recent Thanksgiving get-together was viewed as a positive step forward, but maybe not the decisive one.
Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” the insider continued. “That’s just not how she does things. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants (it to be) forever.”
