While promoting Deadpool & Wolverine in a new interview, Ryan joked that he was “sued” by Taylor for using her cats in the movie.
“Yes, I had a T-shirt made. Yes, of Meredith and Olivia on Wade’s shirt,” Ryan shared “Now, when you put her cats on a T-shirt, did you have to call her and get permission?”
“No, I was sued. I lost everything in that one,” Ryan jokingly responded. “And getting sued by a friend is tough to swallow.”
“Also, she has just a lot of very, very powerful lawyers,” he continued. “I found out later those are just the paralegals. The real lawyers didn’t even bother with it.”
But…I would never do such a thing,” Ryan added about wearing the shirt without Taylor‘s permission.
Obviously there’s no bad blood between Ryan and Taylor over the shirt since the two have remained close friends.
