Breaking: Amy Adams Reacts To Petition Casting Her As Taylor Swift’s Publicist In A Biopic
If the Swifties have anything to say about it, Amy Adams might just have her next role lined up.
After a fan theorized Adams “would win an Oscar” for her portrayal of Taylor Swift‘s publicist Tree Paine in a potential biopic, the 6x Academy Award nominee reacted to a petition for the fantasy casting.
“That would be amazing,” said Adams on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “That would be so fun. I mean… if it got me closer to Taylor, then that would be fun.”
The Nightbitch star admitted to recently becoming a Swiftie herself after checking out the Eras Tour, much to the dismay of her 14-year-old daughter.
“I’ve always liked her music and appreciated her, and then I went to the Eras Tour — a friend of mine had a ticket — and then I became a Swiftie at 50,” Adams explained. “I’m a Swiftie at 50, so I’m like a shifty Swiftie 50. … and then I’m like, ‘Isn’t that nifty?’ And my daughter’s going, ‘Oh, I hate this for you.’”
Adams recently thanked her daughter Aviana as she accepted the Tribute Performer Award for Nightbitch at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. “You make me not only a better mother, but a better person. Every day you challenge me,” she said.
