Patrick Mahomes Calls Burglary at His Kansas City-Area Home ‘Frustrating’ and ‘Disappointing’
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback spoke out for the first time about the crime, which happened in early October
Patrick Mahomes is speaking out for the first time about the burglary to his Kansas City-area home last month.
At the team’s media availability on Wednesday, Nov. 13, the NFL star, 29, addressed the incident but was tight-lipped about details regarding the crime, which occurred at his Belton, Missouri home around midnight on Sunday, Oct. 6.
“Obviously, it’s frustrating, disappointing but I can’t get into too many of the details because the investigation is still ongoing,” Mahomes said.
The Chiefs quarterback added that it was “something you don’t want to happen to really anybody.”
The crime happened less than 24 hours before the Chiefs took on the New Orleans Saints for a Monday Night Football game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
