Harrison Butker’s controversial speech at Benedictine College’s commencement has forced people to revisit Colin Kaepernick’s fallout from the NFL.
Kaepernick last played for the San Francisco 49ers in 2016. Whether teams want to admit it or not, some people in the league didn’t want to deal with all the noise surrounding Kaepernick’s decision to kneel during national anthem. for essentially saying Butker is entitled to his opinion. She shared an old headline that said, “Goodell doesn’t agree with Kaepernick’s actions.”
That’s not all Nessa had to say.
“That’s why I don’t watch that organization – and I still don’t care who performs at their halftime show,” Nessa wrote on Instagram.
Kaepernick didn’t add any commentary to this post, but it’s telling that he shared it with his followers.
