Kylie revealed she handles her kids’ cursing with an old-school method—washing mouths out with soap—and shared a funny moment with her daughter Wyatt.
Kylie Kelce is not f–king around.
The mother of four combats her kids’ cursing using an old-fashioned method: She cleans their mouths out with soap.
“Wyatt test-drove the word bitch — a couple times,” the 34-year-old revealed on Wednesday’s episode of her husband Jason Kelce and brother-in-law Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
Kylie recalled the time her and Jason’s 6-year-old daughter “used it in proper context,” explaining that she was closing the front door while her sister Elliotte, 4, was inside the house.
And she went, ‘Biiiiitch,’ and closed it really slowly and said it at the same time,” Kylie said with a laugh.
“And as soon as I opened the door, she was like, ‘Sorry!’ Immediate buyer’s remorse. Immediate. Because she knew what was coming: It was a bar of soap.”
Kylie didn’t wash Wyatt’s mouth out “that time” because she took accountability “very quickly.”
“But she has gotten it before, which is why she knows I’m not joking about a bar of soap,” Kylie made sure to note, arguing that “you can’t do empty threats with kids” because “it’s a waste of time.”
Jason, 38, noted that he wasn’t sure whether a bar of soap would work on a potty-mouthed 9-year-old, to which his wife responded, “I would maybe go so far as to look up pictures of people without their dentures in and see how she feels about that.”
